I like to travel

If the artist in me had remained asleep, I would have become a cargo skipper.

My second career.

I am very content with my life as it is though.
With a brick house in Holland and a caravan in Spain
and two studio’s in different cities.
Enough to travel.

But sometimes – mostly when not on my way
I like to dream of places I have never been.

And when my work flies to Hong Kong
Am I a little bit there myself?

It feels so.
