What an event… The Post-it Project was a big success. In 4 days a wall was filled with 136 Post-its. And there were people to talk with, lots of people who came doing the Art Walk to enjoy the art here. My oh my, did I do a lot of talking these days..
Many people took some time to contribute to my Post-it Project… Thanks!!!
The details:
March 23, 24, 26 and 27 the annual ArtWalk took place in Competa, Andalucía (Spain). I joined the event for the first time, and made a site-specific installation on the wall!
During these four days, I made Post-It drawings and paintings. And in this time, the whole wall was covered with Post-It art.
But that is not all… I invited the visitor to participate. Everyone got a chance to work with me and my materials on this wall of art. Art is for, and from the people. Everyone is the artist in my installation.
Some people contributed with sending me inspiration for the Post-it Art. Thank you all!
