GRONDSTOF – an exhibition about resources.
Six artists and one artist duo present their work in the exhibition Grondstof, in which the fascination for the material is central. The forms of expression are as diverse as the artists: artist duo Kaneli & Smit, Nan Groot Antink, Lucie Havel, Jerrold Saija, Joppe Venema, Margreet Hajee and Karin Hoogesteger. The common denominator for all these artists is that the raw material, in addition to the material used, is also the theme of the work they make. Ultimately, work and raw materials almost coincide.
Grondstof was officially opened on Sunday 6 April at 3 p.m. in De Cacaofabriek Expo open daily until 1 June 2025 (free admission).
