CURANDEROS is the title of my upcoming solo exhibition at the Bornse Synagoge.

Karin Hoogesteger explores the connection between culture and nature in both her life and her paintings.

During this exhibition she shows a new series of paintings with the theme of shamans (Spanish: curanderos). In these, she highlights the universal relationship between spiritual traditions and the preservation of our planet.
The artist sees man as guardians of the earth, with a holistic responsibility to restore balance and harmony.
